to showcase an incredible architectural development project on one of London’s key landmarks, Guy’s Hospital. Document the development work and results, and demonstrate how the stakeholders worked together to complete the project with minimal disruption to the hospital itself. The film had to be grand enough in scale to be projected onto a big screen at the launch event for the new building. For lead contractor Balfour Beatty, project managers Arup, architects Penoyre and Prasad, the project clients Essentia, and Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust.
we produced a 7 minute film to tell the story of this very challenging and interesting architectural project. We also commissioned a book from design company Spy Studio, and together created a lasting document of the project and the people involved, both in print and on film.
“Forward slash fully embraced the true spirit of collaboration and teamwork during the delivery of Guy’s Tower and the associated book and film. The final production was of the highest standard and the ultimate Client was exceptionally pleased with the conclusion of all the efforts. The team from forward slash were experts at adapting to the needs of the customer and helping them to achieve their vision. The creative input, coupled with a very practical approach to the timely delivery of both productions was essential to needs of all at Guy’s Tower. On top of all the aforementioned successes, the whole process was great fun and a really rewarding exercise we can all be proud of! Captured forever within the book and film!”
